Longding Aluminium Achieves Higher Record for Light-Gauge Foil Production

On November 21st, Longding Aluminum Industry's production daily report revealed that the production of light-gauge foil had reached 2000 tons, with an expected monthly output of 2500 tons, and will keep increasing to over 3500 tons in December.
Since the beginning of the fourth quarter, Longding Aluminum Industry has focused on internal improvements, comprehensively enhancing the quality of light-gauge foil raw materials. This includes upgrading the melt composition structure in the casting and rolling process, strengthening melt purification execution, regulating casting process parameters, upgrading equipment precision in the cold rolling process, cleaning guide roller systems, lubricating and cleaning oils, protecting material transfer, and systematically removing head and tail sections. These efforts extend to the aluminum foil process, involving solidification process parameters, enhancing rolling mill cleanliness, and refining cutting operations, leading to a significant improvement of quality steady, increase of foil production and sales.
Yi Yiwei, Deputy General Manager of Longding Aluminum, stated that the company will continue to optimize the entire process of smelting, cold rolling, and aluminum foil, improving equipment stability and operational efficiency. Longding Aluminum is committed to maintaining the stability of light-gauge foil raw materials and finished product quality. This forms a solid foundation for the commissioning of the 100,000-ton battery foil/light-gauge foil project, product structure optimization, and capturing a prominent position in the high-end aluminum foil market.
It is anticipated that with the smooth progress of Longding Aluminum 100,000-ton battery foil/light-gauge foil project, the monthly production of light-gauge foil could reach 6,000 tons in the first half of 2024.
